The industrial sector: verification of the contractor on the sanction lists

Our client is a leading cement manufacturer in Poland. The company specializes in the production of Portland clinker and various types of cement, such as Portland slag cement, ash cement, road cement, airport cement and highway cement.

Project objective

The aim of the project was to automate the process of advanced contractor verification on the basis of recommendations prepared by a consulting company. Our task was to prepare solutions that ensure automation of the contractor registration, verification and approval process.

Low-code and RPA for maximum functionality

We used low-code and RPA solutions, for the expected functionality. For the project, using robotization tools, we built more than a dozen integrations with national, European and global (e.g., UN) lists of sanctioned entities and countries.

Hyper-automation in the contractor verification process

The introduction of modern technology and hyper-automation in the counterparty verification process has brought benefits, affecting the speed and accuracy of these activities. Automation and digitization have made it possible to carry out verifications faster and more accurately, allowing for better management of counterparty risks. Reducing the time required for analysis and verification has translated into savings in human resources and has helped reduce the number of mistakes and provided the opportunity to verify the entire contractor database on a cyclical basis. Digitization and automation of the process allowed to avoid potential penalties related to violation of Polish and European law.
